As a Production Support VPC Tech at our Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) youll play a key role in supporting production needs with a focus on vehicle accessorization and inspection. This position ensures vehicles are properly equipped meet quality standards and are ready for shipment. Youll work alongside Quality Inspectors and other team members adapting to a variety of tasks within the VPC environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented mechanically inclined and committed to supporting production output while maintaining a safe clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
Install vehicle accessories according to guidelines and product specifications
Support daily vehicle processing and shipping requirements
Collaborate closely with Quality Inspectors to ensure standards are met
Perform functionality checks adjustments and alignments as needed
Complete special assignments as directed by management
Maintain tools responsibly and ensure proper care of company equipment
Uphold housekeeping and organizational standards consistent with 5S initiatives
Qualifications:
Previous mechanical or automotive experience preferred
Working knowledge of installation tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid drivers license required; ability to drive manual transmission preferred
Excellent work and attendance record with flexibility for overtime and alternate assignments
Physical ability to: Standand walk for most of the shift. Bend stoop reach lift twist and climb into vehicles. Push pull and grasp objects. Lift 5075 lbs consistently
Additional Information:
Some Saturday work may be required based on production needs
