Sample Custodian Sample splitter Eurofins Environment Testing Stafford, TX

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is looking for a Sample Custodian in Stafford TX.

• This position is expected to assist oversee all the different aspects of shipping receiving storing distributing and logging samples.
• Prepare samples from processing
• Accepts and signs for deliveries.
• Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
• Uses dollies forklifts and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area.
• Opens coolers and inspects contents of shipments. Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for.
• Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate.
• Follows strict safety and quality control procedures.
• Stores restocks and shelves samples as necessary.
• Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
• Enters records in LIMS system

Qualifications :

• High School or GED
• Customer Service Oriented
• Good Oral and written English language skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to move around stand for long periods of time sit for long periods of time squat and lift containers up to 50 pounds
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement including the ability to read write and speak in English

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Tuesday to Saturday 3 PM to 12 AM (Saturday can be earlier if preferred) with possibility of overtime. initial training would be 9 AM to 5 for about one month.

The salary range for this position is $20 / hour   (DOE)
