Payoneer is looking for an experienced banking and treasury head for its China business and payment license entity specialized in cross-border payments industry. We are looking for a banking and treasury head with strong and comprehensive exposure and leadership in cross-border e-commerce and cross-border payments. The position holder will be directly reporting to the CEO of China license entity.

What youll do
- Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with domestic and cross-border payments partner banks and clearing houses negotiating and securing agreements that enhance our service offerings.
- Infrastructure Development: Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of robust banking and payment systems ensuring scalability security and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Treasury Management: Lead the processing and management of daily liquidity and customer funds settlement of the China license entity.
- Regulatory Compliance: Partner with partner banks clearing houses and internal compliance teams to ensure that the license entitys activities on partners bank accounts and regulatory account comply with local regulatory standards including AML KYC and data protection requirements.
- Support Business Growth: Manage the volume portfolio and line of businesses across banking and to ensure better compliance and reduce the transaction cost.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Engineering Legal Compliance Risk Finance and Payoneer global banking teams to deliver on the local and global banking strategy and address operational challenges.
- Innovation and Efficiency: Drive innovation in payment technologies and processes to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with payment infrastructure and partner relationships.
Who you are
- 8 years of experience in China banking cross border payments payment regulations and FX.
- Bachelors degree or above.
- Proven track record in managing complex Chinese bank relationships and payment infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of Chinese payment and cross-border payment systems FX regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of China cross-border ecommerce and cross-border payments scenarios and flows.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-driven with a focus on delivering high-impact outcomes.
- Professional level in English both reading and writing.
