EduTalent Group is recruiting a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disability (PMLD) in a supportive Eastbourne school. This role is temp to perm offering the opportunity to grow within the school.
Key responsibilities:
Support pupils with ASD and PMLD in class and small group settings
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Promote positive behaviour engagement and independence
Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual needs.
Foster inclusion social skills and emotional wellbeing
Requirements
- Experience supporting pupils with ASD and/or MLD
- Ability to build strong positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Patient empathetic and resilient
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
