Your mission To strategically manage and grow the service contracts of key customers enhancing both their competitive edge and loyalty - while boosting Vanderlandes profitability.

What will you be doing

  • You are the trusted business partner for a dedicated set of customers with the goal to improvetheir competitive position in the rapidly changing environment of Warehouse Automation
  • Being in close contact with your customer youare able toidentify and generate opportunitieswhich benefit both our customers as well as Vanderlande
  • You are a spider in the web and will be working closely with (amongst others):
    • Yourcustomers
    • Your colleagues to continuously learn andimprove
    • Our sales department in preparing and creating the service contracts and life-cycle plans (ifneeded) to ensure that these contracts and plans meet the requirements of both ourcustomers andVanderlande.
    • Our support organization in ensuring proper planning and execution of service requests as wellas (financial)administration
    • Our project execution organization in ensuring proper execution of (service) projects andhandover to yourcustomer

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the clients representative within the internal organization and acting as theVanderlandes representative at yourcustomers
  • Responsible for customer service execution and stakeholder/escalation management
  • Implementing managing analysing and optimizing service accounts for which you hold P&Lresponsibility
  • Identifying generating and selling newopportunities
  • Ensuring operational readiness through seamless transition from project phase to the serviceorganization
  • Coordinating and monitoring our service suppliers to ensure cost effective service delivery to ourcustomers
  • Monitoring a proper planning and execution of service requests and initiate improvements ifnecessary
  • Further improving contract managementprocesses

What do we ask from you

  • Relevant working experience in a commercialenvironment
  • Sinceyou willbe in frequent contact with internal and external customers and building up long-term relationshipsit isessential to have good communication skills (both English and Dutch) andsome logistical and technical insight (preferably also IT related) so you understand the client andVanderlandes operationalprocesses
  • Moreover you have a commercial mindset and you enjoy acting as an entrepreneur in ourinternationalenvironment
  • You have good negotiation and influencing skillsin order toconvince others to do what is best forourcustomers
  • As we operate in an international environment but specifically assigned in our Benelux regionyoudontmind travelling (by car up to 50%).
  • Flexible as a team player and part of the customer emergency standby

You are part of the Service Operations Warehousing department specifically the team responsible for the Benelux region. The Benelux service region is thebiggest region within the customercenterand is responsible for serving approximately 55customers. You will report to the Service Manager for the Service Account Managers.
