About the role
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising & Events Coordinator to join
our dynamic Fundraising & Communications team during an exciting season of growth and transformation.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager youll be the glue of our fundraising teamproviding vital support across all areas of fundraising. This is a varied and exciting new role that includes planning organising and executing fundraising events as well as supporting the wider team with administration supporter engagement and general fundraising operations.
Youll play a key role in ensuring our supporters feel valued and connected to the mission whether through personalised communications event-related calling or assisting with campaign and church engagement activities.

Key areas of responsibility include:
- Support the coordination and delivery of fundraising events
- Support donor engagement through personalised communications church talk and event follow-ups
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for fundraising activities
- Assist with campaign planning church talks and supporter care initiatives
- Availability to work weekends and after hours due to fundraising events

- A strong personal alignment with the foundational Christian philosophy organisational identity culture and values of CAP
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using multiple technology systems
- Able to prioritise workload efficiently and manage time effectively
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
- Appropriate level of fitness required for lifting and packing in and out for events
- Must hold and maintain a full drivers license
