Roles & Responsibilities
An SAP BODS and Information Steward Admins role involves administering and maintaining the Information Steward platform configuring data quality rules managing metadata profiling data and collaborating with business users to enforce data governance policies. They are responsible for the technical operation of the Information Steward system ensuring data quality and lineage are maintained and generating reports on data quality metrics.

Key Responsibilities
Should have experience as admin on SAP BODS and Information Steward.
Install configure upgrade and maintain SAP BODS and Information Steward environments (including Designer Repository Job Server Access Server and Management Console).
Manage user roles privileges and access permissions within the Information Steward system.
Monitor job executions troubleshoot failures and optimize the performance of data quality and data integration processes.
Perform backups and recoveries of the Information Steward repository and server configurations.
Manage and maintain central and local repositories and ensure synchronization.
Monitor BODS job executions troubleshoot failures and optimize performance.
Administer and manage Data Quality and Data Integration processes.
Apply patches security updates and version upgrades as needed.
Perform backup and recovery of BODS repositories and server configurations.
Ensure secure and proper access by managing user roles and privileges.
Work closely with ETL developers to deploy and migrate jobs across development QA and production environments.
Maintain documentation for architecture configurations standard operating procedures (SOPs) and incident resolutions.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to manage server and storage capacity planning.
Support audits compliance and data governance initiatives.
Manage BODS repositories (Central Local Profiler) and associated databases
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs job server performance and execution issues
Schedule and manage jobs using BODS Management Console
Perform performance tuning of BODS jobs and underlying database queries
Collaborate with ETL developers data analysts and business teams to ensure smooth data flow and job execution
Ensure data quality consistency and integrity through proper job design and validation
Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for BODS components
Prepare and maintain documentation for system configurations job execution issue resolution and standard procedures
Apply software patches and perform system health checks regularly
Provide support for disaster recovery planning and testing
Work closely with ETL developers business analysts and other IT teams to deploy migrate and support data integration and data quality initiatives

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
Experience: Experience in data management or a similar role. Experience with SAP Information Steward is preferred.
Skills: Strong analytical skills attention to detail and proficiency in data analysis tools. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with various teams.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills ability to apply expertise to drive complex technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing& demonstrations including issues status reports and resolving impediments.
