Position: Construction & Design Associate

Overview:
Our client a leading national law firm is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of transactional or contract experience involving construction projects to join its Construction & Design Practice Group in Denver. This role will focus on drafting and negotiating a range of project-related agreements for industrial energy renewable residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate EPC/BOP cost-plus fixed-price CM professional services subcontractor and supply agreements
-
Advise clients across diverse project types including:
-
Energy projects (wind solar hydroelectric and natural gas facilities)
-
Agricultural food processing and industrial facilities
-
Mining and natural resource developments
-
Athletic and sports facilities
-
Manufacturing R&D fulfillment and warehouse projects
-
General commercial construction matters
-
Support dispute management and risk mitigation on major construction projects
Qualifications:
-
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
-
2-5 years of transactional or contract experience in construction or related projects
-
Colorado Bar admission (or ability to obtain)
-
Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting organizational and communication skills
-
Top academic credentials
