Job Description:

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive administrator to support purchase request processing within engineering R&D department.
This role ensures timely procurement of materials tools and services essential for innovation and product development while maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Process and track R&D-related purchase requests from initiation to completion
Collaborate with engineers and project leads to clarify sourcing requirements
Liaise with supply chain and finance teams to ensure budget alignment and vendor compliance
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders invoices and delivery timelines
Assist in vendor selection and evaluation for R&D-specific materials and services
Generate regular reports on procurement activity cost analysis and process efficiency
Ensure adherence to company policies safety standards and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

3 years of experience in procurement purchasing or administrative support-preferably in an engineering or R&D setting
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and procurement software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into actionable purchase requests

Preferred Skills

Experience working in a fast-paced innovation-driven environment
Knowledge of engineering materials lab equipment and prototyping tools
Understanding of compliance standards in R&D procurement (e.g. ISO FDA etc.)
