Job Summary

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual management accounts.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data and preparing variance analysis.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Maintain accruals prepayments and journal entries.
  • Help monitor departmental budgets and expenditures.
  • Prepare management reports dashboards and cost analyses for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of year-end audit files and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation within the finance function.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and administrative support to the Management Accountant and Finance Manager.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  • Part-qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA CA ACCA CIMA).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g. Xero MYOB SAP or Oracle).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable:
  • Experience in management accounting or financial analysis role.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and business performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting under IFRS / GAAP specify as applicable
