We are currently seeking a CSR Ultrasound professional to join our partner hospitals in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in line with established clinical protocols policies and professional standards.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging results and maintain comprehensive patient records in accordance with hospital documentation standards.
Contribute to the development review and implementation of operational policies clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure the optimum use of resources and support regular audit processes.
Advise on equipment selection purchase replacement and upgrading ensuring all systems meet clinical and safety requirements.
Assist in the preparation monitoring and evaluation of service plans providing updates and reports on implementation progress.
Implement and maintain accurate clinical information systems ensuring compliance with hospital standards for data management and patient confidentiality.
Maintain detailed records of equipment servicing maintenance malfunctions and downtime and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules in collaboration with the Head of Radiology.
Keep up to date with clinical technical and radiographic advancements in ultrasound and related fields and promote awareness and adoption of best practices within the department.
Contribute to financial planning and assist in maintaining budgetary control to support efficient departmental operations.
Support the Head of Radiology in developing and implementing initiatives for service improvement operational efficiency and increased patient throughput
Requirements
BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
Postgraduate Diploma in Ultrasound (desirable).
CORU registration (mandatory).
Management course is desirable but not essential.
A minimum of 6 years experience in the chosen imaging modality
or a postgraduate qualification in the modality plus at least 3 years experience.
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a team of Radiographers.
Proven ability in training and mentoring Radiographers in ultrasound techniques
