The Opportunity
Moonee Valley City Council has an opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to assist in the care maintenance and enhancement of the municipalitys Streetscapes WSUD & Bike paths. As part of a team committed to providing high-quality services this role helps ensure our outdoor spaces are maintained to the high standard expected by our community.
Responsibilities
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Horticulture/Parks & Gardens or demonstrate equivalent experience through recognition of prior learning. You will have a solid understanding of horticultural principles and practices along with the physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting bending and operating tools and equipment safely. A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential. A current Victorian Drivers Licence and a Medium Rigid Licence (or a willingness to obtain one) are required as well as up-to-date Traffic Management First Aid and CPR certifications. We are looking for someone with excellent teamwork and communication skills who can work effectively with colleagues and engage professionally with members of the public.
