Your mission

We are looking for a German-speaking Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our largest automotive clients (OEMs & Tier-1 suppliers). In this role you will be the primary point of contact for your portfolio driving value for our clients while contributing to Prewaves growth.

  • Nurture and build strong relationships with your portfolio automotive clients ensuring long-term satisfaction and growth.

  • Develop and execute a strategic account plan to grow and strengthen your portfolio.

  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships on C-Level.

  • Lead complex sales-cycles and effectively present the value of the Prewave solutions to C-level executives of organizations.

  • Ownership of renewing existing agreements on time in order to prevent churn.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on Prewaves solutions (LkSG Resilience EUDR EUBR) and guide customers through ESG regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Identify qualify (BANT qualification) and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities negotiating contracts and pricing to maximize revenue.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust account strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Represent Prewave at events and conferences expanding your network and strengthening customer relationships.

Your profile

Must-Haves

  • 5 years of selling software and/or services to accounts in the automotive or manufacturing industry

  • Proven success using solution selling methodologies

  • Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding targets

  • Excellent interpersonal presentation written & verbal communication skills

  • Strong negotiation pipeline management and forecasting skills

  • Professional results-driven attitude

  • Native in German fluent in English both written and spoken

  • Be willing to travel as required

  • Valid work permit for Austria or Germany

Bonus points for

  • Genuine interest in AI risk prediction and supply chains

  • Experience in start-ups / scale-ups

  • Previous experience in working with supply chain and procurement departments

  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits: The minimum gross monthly salary according to the IT collective agreement is EUR 4485. As this is a sales position the actual compensation package will include a competitive base salary determined by your qualifications and experience and a performance-based bonus.
