Job Summary

Here is what you will do:

1. Technical Leadership & Electrical Design

  • Lead the design and technical development of medium and low voltage distribution systems (up to 66kV) for utilities industrial facilities and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide expert oversight on substation layouts switchgear MCCs transformers protection systems and grounding networks.
  • Review and validate complex electrical studies including load flow short circuit arc flash protection coordination and power quality analysis.
  • Define project design strategies and ensure compliance with IEC IEEE ANSI NFPA and client-specific standards.

2. Medium Voltage Expertise & Industrial Applications

  • Oversee the design and installation of MV networks RMUs transformers and cabling systems in industrial and utility-scale applications.
  • Advise clients and contractors on best practices for MV installation safety and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with arc flash mitigation grounding and protection system coordination for safe and resilient networks.

3. Project & Client Management

  • Act as the technical lead and primary point of contact for electrical engineering scopes in multidisciplinary projects.
  • Manage client expectations provide technical presentations feasibility studies and reports.
  • Support project managers in budgeting scheduling and resource allocation for electrical engineering deliverables.

4. BIM Integration & Digital Engineering

  • Oversee 3D modeling of electrical systems using Revit MEP and AutoCAD Plant 3D ensuring seamless integration with mechanical civil and process layouts.
  • Guide coordination meetings clash detection reviews and BIM model integration across disciplines.
  • Promote best practices in digital engineering CDE platforms (BIM 360 ACC) and model-based collaboration.

5. Construction & Commissioning Support

  • Provide senior-level site engineering support including construction supervision technical clarifications and contractor coordination.
  • Oversee testing commissioning and handover documentation of electrical installations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure transfer of knowledge on installation practices and commissioning methodologies.

Qualifications :

Heres what were looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 8 years of professional experience with strong focus on medium voltage systems and industrial power distribution.
  • Proven track record in MV-to-LV distribution substations switchgear and large industrial electrical infrastructure.
  • Hands-on knowledge of utility standards protection design and electrical safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD electrical calculation tools and BIM workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination.

Preferred:

  • Working proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD Plant 3D for plant design and coordination.
  • Extensive field experience (installation commissioning site supervision and troubleshooting).
  • Exposure to High Voltage systems renewable energy process industries and hazardous area design.
  • Ability to mentor and train junior staff fostering technical excellence within the team
