Job Summary
COLSA is seeking a Business Analyst to support projects for the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) in Huntsville Alabama. In this role youll bridge business needs and technical execution through clear comprehensive documentation and analysis ensuring all requirements are well-defined traceable and actionable. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to write & translate complex information into clear deliverables that guide development and decision-making.
This role is 100% on-site
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Collaborate with Product Owners stakeholders and Scrum teams to elicit document and prioritize business requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
- Ensure clarity completeness and accessibility of product documentation.
- Participate in backlog refinement sprint planning and daily Scrum meetings.
- Ensure requirements are understood by development and QA teams for successful delivery.
- Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and maintaining the product roadmap.
- Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Conduct data analysis and research to provide insights and recommendations for business improvements.
- Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
