The Patient Access Representative is a front-end individual who interacts with customers and assists with requests provides information answers phones obtains demographic data verifies coverage processes reservation and other related duties.

complete and accurate demographic and insurance data by interviewing the patient over the telephone and entering information in appropriate systems.
the patients insurance coverage and if necessary secure additional information from the physician or patient; evaluates the customers Medicaid status (if appropriate). Advises the patient of any deposits or financial liability that will be their responsibility.
