Nexagen Search has been engaged by a growing commercial-stage pharmaceutical company to identify a Head of Marketing to lead strategic marketing initiatives across multiple product lines in human health.

Position Summary
The Head of Marketing will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive awareness customer engagement and sales performance across all channels. This individual will manage both strategic planning and hands-on executionleading initiatives in brand positioning product marketing digital strategy and trade show presence.
This role requires a balance of strategic vision and operational excellence with the ability to build systems measure performance and continuously refine marketing effectiveness. Reporting directly to senior leadership this person will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Medical Affairs and Operations to align marketing priorities with overall company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support business growth across human health product lines.
- Partner with executive leadership to define brand identity competitive differentiation and market positioning.
- Oversee annual marketing planning budgeting and performance metrics to ensure measurable ROI.
- Lead digital and traditional marketing campaigns including web social media email and advertising initiatives.
- Manage external vendors and creative partners to produce high-impact content and campaigns.
- Drive consistent brand messaging and compliance across all channels and materials.
- Support product launches with strategic go-to-market plans competitive analysis and sales enablement materials.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral presentations and educational content to support field teams.
- Partner with R&D and commercial teams to identify new opportunities and optimize product positioning.
- Oversee the companys strategy in key medical trade shows.
- Measure and report on marketing performance customer engagement and digital metrics.
- Champion data-driven decision-making leveraging analytics to inform future strategy and demonstrate marketing ROI.
- Foster collaboration across teams to ensure unified execution of brand initiatives and cross-channel integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or related field; advanced degree preferred (MBA).
- 8 years of progressive marketing experience including leadership within the life sciences pharmaceuticals or consumer health sectors.
- Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategy across multiple product lines or market segments.
- Experience marketing FDA-regulated products with a solid understanding of compliance labeling and promotional requirements.
- Demonstrated success managing digital and traditional marketing programs that drive measurable growth.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using KPIs and data to guide marketing decisions and optimize performance.
- Excellent leadership communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
