School Psychologist
Compensation: $63K-$78K per year
Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.
Our client a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities is seeking a School Psychologist for their Queens NY location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and gather social and developmental histories for children ages 3-5.
- Prepare clear comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations and collaborate with therapeutic teams to develop effective interventions.
- Participate in treatment planning feedback sessions and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Foster positive communication among supervisors employees and families.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations and agency standards.
- Deliver group and individual counseling as well as parent training in accordance with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Attend IEP conferences annual reviews and other required meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Certified School Psychologist
- Proficiency in the Behavior Assessment System for Children-3 (BASC-3)
