Your Challenge
EXP is currently searching for a Project Manager to join our team supporting our U.S. Transportation South group across our Florida locations.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify research and qualify PR opportunities media partnerships and strategic communications initiatives.
- Lead the development and execution of proposals presentations and campaigns in response to RFPs/RFQs.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets influencers and key stakeholders.
- Oversee internal and external communications strategies aligned with EXPs brand and client goals.
- Manage multiple PR and communications projects ensuring delivery within scope budget and timeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing design engineering client services) to support integrated messaging.
- Apply risk management strategies to protect brand reputation and ensure message consistency.
- Develop and manage editorial calendars press releases media kits and content plans.
- Ensure all communications meet brand standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with design and technical teams to align messaging with project milestones and deliverables.
- Mentor junior communications staff and provide guidance on best practices and professional development.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of all public-facing materials and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
The Skills and Knowledge You Bring
- Bachelors degree in public relations Communications Marketing or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in public relations corporate communications or strategic marketing.
- Proven experience managing PR campaigns in transportation planning or related industries.
- Exceptional writing editing and presentation skills.
- Strong media relations and crisis communication experience.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-profile projects.
- Familiarity with digital communications platforms analytics tools and media monitoring software.
- Experience working with senior leadership and external partners to shape messaging and strategy.
