Department/Unit Summary

Millard-Henry Clinic

LPN/LVN is responsible for collaborating with other health professionals in organizing implementing and evaluating quality of patient care. Perform specific nursing duties within the scope of practice as stated in the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas and the standards and expectations of the institutions as supported by the mission vision and core values of the organization. The LPN/LVN is responsible for administering injections per physician orders instrument cleaning & packaging and exam room maintenance. Monitor inventory and order patient supplies for the prospective work area as required. Review and update vaccines in the Athena HER. Assist the provider with procedures. Schedule and pre-authorize all outpatient diagnostic procedures and provider to provider referrals as needed. Coordinate provider schedules as necessary. Perform diagnostic testing: ECGs Spirometry and ear irrigation as needed.

Other duties as required or requested.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state LPN license and have completed an LPN/LVN program from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred
