Job Summary

Our client is seeking a creative and forward-thinking Design & Technology Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in Basingstoke. This is a full-time permanent position starting in January 2026 offering an exciting opportunity to teach in a school that celebrates innovation collaboration and academic excellence.

The successful Design & Technology Teacher will deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 35 encouraging students to think critically design creatively and problem-solve effectively. You will bring the subject to life through engaging practical projects and contemporary design challenges that link classroom learning to the real world.

There will also be opportunities to contribute to STEM and enterprise projects design exhibitions and cross-curricular collaborations helping to strengthen the schools reputation for innovation and student engagement.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified DT Teacher (QTS/PGCE or equivalent) Product Design Engineering or Graphics specialists welcome

  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach across KS3KS5

  • A passion for practical learning innovation and sustainability

  • Excellent organisational skills and high expectations of student achievement

  • Legal right to work in the UK
