Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage (Hospitalist needs across Munson Healthcare System)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Michigan License required (will not accept unlicensed presentations)
Board: ACNP Certification (Required due to procedural responsibilities)
DEA: Active DEA registration required
Certifications: BLS ACLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year of Hospitalist or ICU experience
Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable performing procedures with or without supervision; ability to cross-credential at multiple Munson facilities (Cadillac Grayling and Otsego)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide hospitalist coverage at Munson Medical Center and affiliated sites (Cadillac Grayling and Otsego Hospitals)
Manage and treat patients in general medicine and ICU settings
Perform required bedside procedures including intubations central lines and arterial lines
Run codes and rapid responses with physician or telemedicine backup as applicable
Collaborate with attending physicians nursing staff and other clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Participate in cross-facility credentialing and coverage rotation as assigned
Adhere to hospital policies procedures and credentialing standards
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Support a collaborative culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Munson Healthcare System
