Job Summary
Northeast Counseling Services is seeking a Substance Abuse Specialist to provide Drug & Alcohol counseling through an aggressive Assertive Community Treatment Team outreach approach in the consumers community.
A valid PA drivers license is required due to the community-based nature of this position. Due to the intensity of the program some nights weekends and holidays are required.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: The position requires a Masters Degree in social work psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university. The individual should have certification as an Addictions Counselor or Co-Occurring Disorders Professional or commit to obtain certification within one year from date of hire.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Alternating shifts: Day shift (8:30am-5:00pm) Second Shift (12:00pm-830pm) weekends holidays
- Monday to Friday and occasional weekends
This position requires the successful completion of an FBI Clearance PA Criminal Clearance and Child Abuse Clearance.
