DescriptionInova HR Shared Services is looking for a dedicatedHR License and Certification Specialist to join the Team. This role will be full-time working Monday Friday day shift located in Fairfax VA.
The HR License and Certification Specialist is responsible for supporting the Human Resources function with various administrative monitoring tasks including assisting with team member license and certification compliance survey and audit documents support and maintaining HR records.

HR License and Certification SpecialistResponsibilities:
- Acts as frontline license and certification compliance customer service representative for Human Resources
- Demonstrates compliance with Inova Health Systems confidentiality and security policies
- Audits and maintains team member records to determine accuracy and compliance with appropriate job profile requirements standards
- Understands the reasoning behind Human Resources compliance policies practices and procedures in order to interpret and articulate to Inova team members
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with the HR Operations team and provides support with survey document retrieval ensuring compliance with relevant license and certification regulations and maintains strong relationships with our team members
- Immediately communicates with HR Partners for any license of certification compliance concerns
- Creates and distributes license and certification compliance reports as requested to provide value added analysis
- Responds promptly and effectively to team member inquiries and escalates issues as required
- Continuously evaluates and recommends improvements to the HR license and certification compliance monitoring processes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:High School or GED
- Experience:2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge ofhealthcare licensing and certification requirementsfor various clinical and non-clinical roles.
- Experience managingcompliance tracking systemsfor employee credentials licenses and certifications.
- Familiarity withJoint Commission OSHA HIPAA and other regulatory requirementsrelated to employee credentialing.
- Proficiency inHRIS systems and compliance tracking software(e.g. Oracle ServiceNow Credentialing Management Systems).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate compliance records.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with employees managers and regulatory agencies.
- Ability tointerpret and apply policies and regulationsrelated to employee licensure and certification.
