Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Category Director to lead and manage the e-commerce category operations for a well-known online retail company in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce category management and leadership with the ability to develop strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies aligned with company goals.

Lead and motivate the category team to achieve sales margin and growth objectives.

Manage supplier relationships negotiate contracts and optimize product assortment.

Monitor category performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with marketing operations and finance teams to ensure alignment.

Stay updated on market trends competitor activities and emerging technologies.
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).

7 to 15 years of experience in e-commerce ideally with leading online retail or marketplace platforms.

Strong expertise in category management pricing strategy and product development.

Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.

Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills.

Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
