Work Hours (Client) : 9am - 5pm AEST

Pay Range : $1500 - $3500 USD/month(varies based on skill set experience level and region)

Location of Search : South Africa Philippines Latin America or Any Region

Work Location : REMOTE

Duties and Responsibilities:


Were looking for a performance-driven E-Commerce Marketing Manager to own and execute the online marketing calendar drive paid media results and optimise our Shopify storefront to maximise conversion and growth.

This role sits at the core of our digital engine blending creativity commercial acumen and flawless execution. Youll oversee everything from campaign launches and promotional planning to content production and email marketing working closely with our paid media and creative teams to deliver measurable results.

1. Marketing Calendar & Campaign Management

  • Own and manage the annual e-commerce marketing calendar ensuring all campaigns sales events and product launches are delivered on time and aligned with business goals.
  • Coordinate seasonal promotions product releases and key marketing moments across Shopify email and paid channels.
  • Ensure all updates assets and campaigns are implemented accurately and on schedule across the website and digital platforms.

2. Shopify Store & E-Commerce Execution

  • Manage and optimise the Shopify storefront including merchandising product launches landing pages and promotional campaigns.
  • Continuously improve on-site conversion rates through CRO testing UX enhancements and strategic merchandising.
  • Leverage new Shopify features apps and integrations to boost performance and improve customer experience.

3. Asset Creation & Content Execution

  • Oversee the creation of marketing assets including photoshoots EDMs banners and promotional graphics.
  • Brief and manage creative partners (video editor graphic designer VA etc.) to deliver content thats on-brand and performance-optimised.
  • Collaborate with the email strategist to plan brief and oversee the execution of EDMs ensuring content offers and messaging align with campaign goals and deliver strong engagement and conversion results.
  • Ensure all creative is optimised for digital channels and supports brand growth objectives.

4. Paid Media & Performance Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the paid media team to drive growth efficiency and ROI across Meta Google and other digital channels.
  • Provide campaign direction creative alignment and promotional strategy to maximise performance and conversion.
  • Analyse results and identify actionable insights to improve ROAS lower CAC and scale top-performing initiatives.
  • Test and iterate on landing pages offers and messaging to optimise funnel performance from ad click to checkout.

5. Team & Project Management

  • Manage a small high-performing team including a video editor paid support admin graphic designer and email strategist.
  • Oversee project timelines approvals and workflows to ensure campaigns run smoothly and on time.
  • Act as the central point of accountability for e-commerce marketing execution and performance.

6. Reporting Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics including campaign results site conversion and promotional ROI.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform strategy creative direction and prioritisation.
  • Stay ahead of e-commerce trends Shopify advancements and marketing best practices to keep the brand competitive and innovative.

Minimum Requirements:

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills

Education: Bachelors Degree (ideally)

Experience: 5 years of related experience

Industry: Passionate about skincare wellness or health (a plus but not required)

  • 5 years of experience in e-commerce marketing ideally within a D2C or consumer brand environment.
  • Proven experience driving performance and conversion growth through online marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify digital performance channels and CRM/email marketing.
  • Skilled at leading small teams and cross-functional collaborators (creative paid media and email).
  • Highly organised with strong project management and communication skills.
  • Analytical and commercially minded able to connect creative decisions with tangible business outcomes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in beauty skincare or lifestyle e-commerce.
  • Proficiency with Klaviyo Meta Ads Manager Google Ads GA4 and project management tools (Asana Notion Trello).
  • Strong creative sensibility with an understanding of what drives engagement and conversion in D2C brands.
