Job Summary
Medical Counter Assistant for OSullivans Pharmacy Grange
We are currently seeking a diligent empathetic and detail-oriented Medical Counter Assistant to join our team in Grange Cork. This is a part-time position (3 days per week) with a rotating schedule that includes one late evening and alternate Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service at the pharmacy counter
- Sell over the counter medications and advise customers appropriately
- Process unpack and shelve incoming orders with accuracy
- Assist in placing stock orders and maintaining inventory levels
- Ensure the pharmacy is clean organised and welcoming
- Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to support daily operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers
- Possesses strong attention to detail in handling medications and stock
- Shows diligence and reliability in all tasks big or small
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an advantage but not essential
Additional Information
- Part-time: 3 days/week (including one late night 19 pm every second Saturday 9 am6 pm and one to two weekdays 9 am6 pm)
