The Role
You will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in Music across KS3KS5 inspiring students to explore performance composition and musical analysis. The successful candidate will teach both classical and contemporary music encourage ensemble participation and prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. You will also direct musical performances school concerts and community showcases and have the opportunity to integrate music technology digital production and live performance into your teaching.
The department is well known for its strong extracurricular offer with thriving choirs orchestras and bands as well as collaborations with local arts organisations. You will play a central role in shaping the schools musical life and contributing to its growing reputation for excellence in the performing arts.

What Were Looking For
Qualified Music Teacher (QTS/PGCE or equivalent)
Ability to teach Music to KS5 with a broad stylistic and theoretical understanding
Strong performance and/or composition background
Enthusiastic about contributing to concerts productions and extracurricular life
Team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
