Job Summary
Position : Accountant
Working Schedule : 8a-5p or 9a-6p EST
Salary Range : 1800-2600 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidates level of experience and at the discretion of the client)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an Accountant for our clients that are experts in startup finance providing sophisticated financial accounting tax and strategic advisory services to leading venture-backed startups. You will be responsible for organizing financial statements managing payroll and miscellaneous organizational tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
- Conduct general bookkeeping tasks including recording financial transactions reconciling accounts and tracking expenses.
- Utilize knowledge of depreciation models and accounting principles to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with financial audits and prepare necessary documentation as required.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in accounting bookkeeping or related field
- 2 years of experience within a client facing position.
- 2 years of experience within a start up company.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks required
- Experience working within the platform
- Strong understanding of general bookkeeping depreciation models reconciliation and accounting principles
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in data analysis and performing cost-benefit analysis
