Position Overview

The LP Property Assistant provides Administrative Support to 3-4 LP Property Managers; In addition to clerical duties you will be called upon to engage and assist with Low- Income & Supportive individuals we serve. This staff member cultivates and maintains a network of resources/information to support cashflow and minimize Homeless recidivism.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative Duties

  • Access/ Shutdown Notices
  • Maintain Yardi System for Entire Portfolio- send weekly reports to respective PM.
  • Create / Produce Welcome Packets for New Movins.
  • Create / Circulate Monthly Newsletter.
  • Communicate with Intake Department- Produce / Maintain Vacancy report as advised by respective PM on readiness.

Mass Mailing

  • Issue Conduct Letters for Leasing & House Rule Violations.
  • Support Respective PM with no contact communication.

Outreach - **Larger Portfolios**

  • Support Respective PM with Rental Arrears & Compliance Follow up.



Job Requirements

  • 5 plus years experience as an Administrative Assistant.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Associate degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Some knowledge/experience working in the social service or related field is preferred
  • Drivers License preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred
  • Familiarity with housing inspections local and Federal vouchers Municipal entities such as HPDDOBECB & LIHTC
