Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior/Scheduler Analystto support one of the most iconic and consequential infrastructure initiatives in the United States the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP).

We are working in partnership with Parsons and Mace as part of the MPA Delivery Partner team selected by the Gateway Development Commission to deliver this transformative project. The HTP is a critical component of the broader Gateway Program one of the most ambitious and impactful transportation initiatives in the nation and is designed to strengthen mobility enhance resiliency and ensure the long-term reliability of the Northeast Corridor.

The project encompasses the construction of a new two-track rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River along with the full rehabilitation of the existing 113-year-old North River Tunnel. This vital infrastructure supports more than 200000 daily passengers via Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT and serves as a backbone for economic activity and connectivity between New York and New Jersey.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Develop maintain and update detailed project schedules using specialized software such as Primavera P6 Microsoft Project or similar tools considering all project activities dependencies and constraints.
  • Collaborate with project managers engineers and subcontractors to establish project requirements milestones and critical path activities to create an accurate and feasible project schedule.
  • Perform schedule analysis including critical path analysis schedule risk assessments and resource leveling to identify potential schedule delays conflicts and opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on schedule data analysis to support decision-making mitigate risks and ensure project objectives are achieved within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Monitor schedule performance track progress against key milestones and report on project schedule status deviations and variances to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare schedule reports graphical presentations and visual representations of project schedules for project meetings progress reviews and presentations to senior management.
  • Support the development of baseline schedules progress measurement methodologies and earned value analysis to evaluate project performance and project schedule adherence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field.
  • 5-7 years of proven experience as a Scheduler or Scheduler Analyst in large construction projects with a focus on tunneling or infrastructure projects.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
  • Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to interpret complex project schedules and data.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of project management principles scheduling best practices and construction methodologies.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $110000 - $150000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
