We are seeking a highly experienced QA Manager / Lead to oversee all quality assurance activities across our software products with special focus on the retail domain mobile platforms automation manual testing and working closely with clients in a consulting-style relationship. The ideal candidate will set the QA vision build and lead a high-performing team and ensure delivery of high-quality reliable software.
KeyResponsibilities
(1)Strategy&Planning
- DevelopanddriveacomprehensiveQAstrategyencompassingmanualautomatedmobileandwebtestingspecificallytailoredtoretail/e-commerceenvironments.
- DefineQAprocessesmethodologiesstandards(includingtestplanstestcasesregressionperformanceusabilityetc.).
- EstablishKPIsandqualitymetrics(bugratestestcoveragedefectturn-aroundcustomer-reportedissuesetc.)andtrack/reportthem.
(2)TeamLeadership&Management
- LeadmentorandgrowateamofQAengineers/testers(manualautomation)andtestleads.
- Manageresourceplanningcapacityhiringperformancemanagementprofessionaldevelopment.
- Fosteracultureofqualitycontinuousimprovementcollaborationinnovation.
(3)Automation&Tools
- Architect/overseedevelopmentoftestautomationframeworkssuitedforweb/mobile/retailpipelines.
- MaintainandevolveautomationsuitesCI/CDintegrationoftestsandensureautomationaddsvalue(reliabilityspeed).
- SelectimplementandmaintainQAtools(testmanagementdefecttrackingmobiledevicelabs/emulatorsperformancetoolsetc.).
(4)Manual/ExploratoryTesting
- Ensurerobustmanualtestingcoverage(functionalregressionexploratoryUI/UX)especiallyforcomplexworkflowsandedgecases.
- Overseetestingacrossmultipleenvironments(webmobilepossiblyin-storehardware/gadgetsifapplicable).
(5)MobileTesting
- Ensuretestingonavarietyofmobiledevices/platforms(iOSAndroid)realdevices&emulatorshandlingOSversionfragmentationscreensizesperformancenetworkvariability.
(6)Retail/E-CommerceDomainExpertisePreferred
- Understandretailworkflows(onlineshoppingPOSsystemsinventorypricingpromotionscheckoutreturnsetc.).
- Ensuretestingaccountsforretail-specificchallenges(hightrafficeventsseasonalpeaksthird-partyintegrationspaymentgatewaysfraudchecksetc.).
(7)ClientManagement/Consulting
- Actasapointofcontactwithclients/stakeholders:understandingtheirrequirementsmanagingexpectationsgivingupdatesonqualityriskstimelines.
- ConductQAconsulting:reviewclientrequirementsproposeQAbestpracticesguidetechnicaltrade-offsadviseontestabilityperformancescalability.
(8)ReleaseManagementandCross-functionalCollaboration
- CollaboratewithProductDevelopmentUXOperationstoalignqualitygoals.
- Participateinreleaseplanning;ensurethatqualitygatesarepassedbeforego-live.
- WorkwithDevOps/InfrastructureonCI/CDenvironmentstabilitytestenvironments.
RequiredQualifications
- BachelorsdegreeinComputerScienceEngineeringorrelatedfield;Mastersorrelevantadvanceddegreepreferred.
- 710yearsinQArolesincludingsubstantialexperienceinaleadership/managerialcapacity.
- -onwithautomationtools().
- Provenexperienceinmobiletesting(appsplatformsdevicemanagementperformanceundermobileconstraints).
- Strongbackgroundinretail/e-commercesystemsandrelateddomainchallenges.
- Experienceinclient-facingrolesorconsulting:abletotranslateclientrequirementsintoQAplansmanageexpectationsdrivecommunication.
- Solidunderstandingofsoftwaredevelopmentlifecycle(SDLC)Agile/ScrumDevOpsCI/CD.
- Excellentleadershipcommunicationcollaborationandnegotiationskills.
- Stronganalytical/problem-solvingskills;abilitytomanageambiguityandmakegoodtradeoffs.
- Experiencewithperformance&loadtestingscalabilitytestingsecuritytesting.
- Familiaritywithtoolsfortestmanagementdefecttracking(JIRATestRailetc.).
- Experienceinretail-specifictechnologies:POSsystemsinventorymanagementpayment/gatewayintegrations3rd-partyMarketplaceintegrations.

- Duration: 3-month contract with the possibility of renewal depending on business needs and performance.
