Family Support Partner

We are seeking a passionate Family Support Partner on our Wraparound Services this meaningful role youll draw from your own journey to uplift and guide families serve as a positive role model for teen boys help families navigate complex systems and empower them to confidently advocate for their childrens needs.

Position Details: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. with frequent afternoon and early evening hours (3:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m.) to accommodate families after the school day. The role also includes participation in the rotating on-call support schedule.

Location: Community-based in the Winston-Salem area

Your Role in Our Mission

The Family Partner uses lived experience raising a child with behavioral health needs to provide one-on-one strengths-based support to families. As a key member of the Child and Family Team (CFT) the Family Partner empowers caregivers to advocate for themselves navigate services and build resiliency. This role involves mentoring families supporting care coordination connecting them to community resources and promoting positive outcomes through collaborative family-driven planning.

What Were Looking For

• Must be a parent or primary caregiver of a child who has received services for I/DD and/or mental health
• Education: Bachelors degree in a human service field preferred
• Skills: Great communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience promoting client voice and choice preferred
• A valid drivers license current auto insurance and a good driving record
