Position Overview:
Reporting to the Raw Materials Warehousing Supervisor the Warehouse Team Lead will own the day-to-day leadership of all warehouse activities at our Scarborough facility. Youll focus on inventory control stock movement and the inbound/outbound flow of raw materials and youll lead process improvements that keep production supplied and running smoothly. Youll support coach and develop warehouse associates fostering a learning environment grounded in our values: innovative respectful passionate accountable and entrepreneurial.
What Youll Do:
Lead coach and develop a team of 20 hourly warehouse associates.
Oversee daily receiving picking/packing putaway and shipping to meet service cost and safety targets.
Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts inbound/outbound audits and KPI tracking.
Manage stock movements and prioritize flow to production to prevent disruption.
Drive continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce year-over-year costs.
Enforce health & safety protocols and ensure daily operational compliance.
Lets Talk About You:
Experience in warehousing/distribution operations and frontline leadership.
Working knowledge of RF SMART (or similar) and Microsoft ERP systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Forklift/Reach certification preferred.
Excellent communication and people-leadership skills.
Strong work ethic sound judgment and independent initiative.
Coaching mindset with the ability to delegate give feedback and resolve workplace issues.
