Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

Lead mentor and scale software engineering teams across diverse technology stacks.
Foster a strong engineering culture rooted in agile practices innovation and delivery excellence.
Build local technology centres of excellence in focus areas such as cloud computing blockchain and AI.
Continuously improve engineering productivity quality assurance and development tools.

Strategic Delivery & Global Collaboration

Drive capacity planning and resource alignment in partnership with Professional Services Units (PSUs) and Country Units (CUs).
Support presales activities by advising on solution architecture delivery models and team structures.
Represent engineering needs in talent planning mentoring and skills development.
Collaborate with HR IT and Legal to ensure a high-performance compliant working environment.

Risk & Quality Management

Partner with Risk & Quality teams to identify and manage delivery compliance and operational risks.
Ensure all staffing delivery and client engagements meet GFT s global quality standards.

Cross-Border Collaboration

Align engineering practices and delivery models with European and APAC stakeholders.
Partner with business development teams to shape technology proposals solution design and pricing strategies.

Requirements

10 years of software engineering experience with 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles.
Proven success in building and scaling engineering teams in international delivery or nearshore/offshore contexts.
Deep knowledge of agile development frameworks software engineering best practices and technical delivery management.
Industry experience in financial services banking or fintech is a strong advantage.
Outstanding leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
