Job Title: Photovoltaic Installation Quality Control Specialist Overview:
The Photovoltaic Installation Quality Control Specialist ensures that solar installations are executed in compliance with NEC building codes and project plans. This role monitors construction quality identifies deviations and supports communication between field teams and other departments to maintain project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Review installation photos to verify compliance with NEC local building codes and safety standards.
-Compare completed installations against plan-sets identifying deviations errors or inconsistencies.
-Document and communicate any discrepancies to the appropriate teams for corrective action.
-Assist in maintaining the inspection pipeline by coordinating with Design Permitting and Field teams.
-Support continuous improvement of installation processes by providing feedback on recurring issues. Requirements
Qualifications:
-Experience in photovoltaic installation quality control or electrical construction.
-Knowledge of NEC local building codes and general construction standards.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical issues in photos and plans.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate across multiple teams.
-Familiarity with plan-sets photo documentation and inspection procedures.
Duties/ Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the monitoring portals Utilize computerized systems to track and analyze solar systems Provide communications such as emailing or calling contractors for onsite visits as well as being able to RMA any equipment Utilize Google Suite and other software to assist with office tasks Act as solar systems monitor for all company clients and be able to walk them through their portal when they receive PTO Provide and analyze generated reports to recognize monitoring system errors and be able to troubleshoot remotely if possible
