Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished video content that meets business objectives brand standards and project requirements. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of editing software storytelling ability and proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw video footage into engaging and professional final outputs.
Add sound effects voiceovers background music and graphics to enhance video quality.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver timely outputs.
Ensure all video content aligns with brand identity and communication standards.
Stay updated with new editing techniques tools and industry trends to maintain competitive standards.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Maintain and organize digital assets raw footage and project files for easy access.
Perform quality checks to ensure high production value and error-free content.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor s degree / Diploma in Multimedia Film Editing or related field.
Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Video Editor.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing projects.
Skills Required
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Final Cut Pro or similar tools.
Knowledge of color correction motion graphics and visual effects.
Strong understanding of storytelling pacing and transitions in videos.
Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Good communication skills with the ability to understand creative briefs and project goals.
Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking skills.
