Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
OVERVIEW:
A market leader in cutting-edge Telecommunications is seeking a skilled and proactive ICT Technician to join their team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with firewalls telephony systems and networking infrastructure. This role requires technical expertise strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver reliable support and installations for their clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure install and maintain firewalls (Sophos and FortiGate).
- Set up and manage 3CX or Yeastar phone systems.
- Configure and install Mikrotik devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ICT-related issues across networking telephony and infrastructure.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
- Install configure and support networking infrastructure including cabling and switches.
- Deploy and maintain Wi-Fi solutions (Grandstream and Ubiquiti).
- Install and support CCTV systems.
- Configure and maintain access control systems (ZKTEKO).
- Document configurations processes and solutions for knowledge sharing.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Proven experience with firewalls specifically Sophos and FortiGate.
- Advanced experience with 3CX or Yeastar telephony systems.
- Strong experience in Mikrotik configuration and installation.
Preferred (added advantage):
- Experience with Grandstream and Yeastar gateways (FXS FXO PRI).
- Experience with Wi-Fi access points (Grandstream Ubiquiti).
- Knowledge of networking cabling and switching.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV systems.
- Experience with access control systems (ZKTEKO).
