Job Summary
Being a Laundry Steward you are responsible to ensure that all laundry services for the guests is done as per the standard policies and is met on time. Also responsible for laundry collection from guest rooms dry-cleaning washing drying pressing and folding of guests laundry along with other linen. Additionally properly tags guest items and then sorts for appropriate action like washing dry cleaning stain removal pressing or sending for repairing to the hotel tailor.
Responsibilities
- Correct handling of the laundry procedures of the company
- Daily laundering (washing ironing and/or pressing folding) of all table linen towels and bedsheets
- Maintaining control of external laundered linen and uniforms including quality control and control of delivery notices
- Correctly storing of all linens and uniforms
- Maintaining cleanliness tidiness and hygiene in the laundry room
- Assisting with stock tacking of housekeeping inventory
- Participating in training programs
- Assisting in taking inventory of the housekeeping department
Requirements
- Fluently spoken English
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Hospitality degree will be considered an advantage

Required Skills:
