Job Opportunity: Purchasing Engine Supervisor
Location:7200 Corporate Center Dr. Miami FL 33126

Reports To:Chief Procurement Officer
Position Overview
The Purchasing Supervisor will be responsible for leading and overseeing all procurement activities related to aircraft engines and engine components. This role requires a strong understanding of aviation industry standards engine parts sourcing and vendor management. The Purchasing Supervisor will develop and implement purchasing strategies ensure cost-effective procurement and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process foraircraft engines modules and components.
- Source solicit and evaluate vendor quotations ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with aviation regulations.
- Negotiate terms and maintain long-term business relationships withengine shops OEMs MRO facilities and component vendors.
- Expedite and monitor shipments of critical materials including AOG requirements to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Ensure all purchased items meet aviation documentation requirements (FAA/EASA forms traceability certifications).
- Generate and process purchase orders for engine-related materials tracking requisitions to completion.
- Liaise between vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies confirm delivery and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and maintain vendor files in compliance with company policies.
- Provide regular reports on purchasing activity vendor performance and cost savings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CPO.
Qualifications:
- Minimum5 years experiencein purchasing/procurement within the aviation industry with a focus onengines and components.
- Established vendor relationships withengine shops and component suppliers(required).
- Strong understanding of FAA/EASA documentation requirements (e.g. 8130-3 EASA Form 1 traceability).
- Demonstrated success invendor negotiationsand cost-reduction strategies.
- Excellent leadership organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in communication (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced AOG-driven environment.
