The postholder will hold a lead responsibility within our older persons service with specific accountability for the management of Extra Care Housing. This includes oversight of the Extra Care register chairing the allocation panel for Extra Care voids and undertaking assessments of applicants to determine suitability and need.
Flexibility is essential as the role requires a responsive approach to service delivery across our customer base. Assessing risk and working effectively with in-house teams and external statutory and voluntary agencies (such as Social Care) for the benefit of customers is key to success in this role.
We are looking for someone whose previous experience of working with vulnerable individuals in a supportive capacity will empower customers to achieve successful outcomes. Passion self-motivation persistence & determination are skills required from the successful candidate to engage & support customers with a range of complex needs.
Candidates will have robust IT skills in order to effectively caseload manage as well as utilise Microsoft packages. Previous experience of clear & accurate recording of customer interventions is also required.
A driving licence & access to a vehicle is necessary for this role.
