Job Summary
* Hiring: Mechanical Engineer Piping Stress Engineer*
Location: Vadodara
Function: Mechanical Engineering & Detailed Engineering
Job Type: 6 Month TPC-Extendable based on performance and project work
* Job Specifications*
Experience: 89 years in Piping Stress Analysis & Detailed Engineering.
Qualification: B.E. Mechanical (from a reputed institute).
Certifications / Trainings: ASME ANSI CAESAR-II Navisworks.
Purpose
Responsible for Design & Detailed Engineering of Plant Piping ensuring safe reliable and cost-effective solutions through comprehensive stress analysis and compliance with international codes.
* Key Roles & Responsibilities*
1. Prepare Stress Design Basis load cases critical line list wind & seismic calculations and related documentation.
2. Perform piping stress analysis using CAESAR-II including modelling load case preparation and interpretation of results.
3. Evaluate piping flexibility stress and support design (forces moments displacements).
4. Conduct flange leakage checks nozzle load evaluations and modal wind & seismic analyses.
5. Handle jacketed piping spring supports bellows WRC checks SPS and underground piping stress analysis.
6. Prepare datasheets for specialties like springs expansion joints etc.
7. Compile detailed stress reports and documentation.
8. Ensure compliance with ASME ANSI API IBR and other relevant codes.
9. Coordinate design and engineering activities with cross-functional teams.
10. Provide Material Take-Off (MTO) and cost inputs for project estimates.
11. Review approve and stamp all piping design deliverables.
12. Proficient in CAESAR-II and Navisworks software.
