Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth. As a Business Developer you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients industry trends and competitive opportunities. Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business objectives.
  • Lead Generation & Networking: Generate leads through various channels including networking events cold calling social media and partnerships. Cultivate and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for client communications.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations proposals and pitches to clients. Negotiate contracts close deals and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing product and operations teams to align business development efforts with company goals. Share insights and feedback to refine products or services.
  • Performance Tracking: Set and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure success and adjust strategies as needed. Prepare regular reports for management.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the company at local industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility in the Los Angeles market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven track record of success in business development sales or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Los Angeles market including key industries and business networks.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software Microsoft Office Suite and sales analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated goal-oriented and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience in industry-specific experience e.g. tech real estate media etc. if relevant.
