Job Summary

Deli Manager Job Mayo

A leading progressive Food Retailer with a chain of shops across Mayo and Munster is hiring for one of its busiest sites within driving distance from Foxford Co Mayo.
You will be responsible for leading a team of 5- 7 staff within the department mainly working early shifts but a fair and flexible roster is in place.

This is a busy operation very fast paced lots of footfall both during the week and weekends. This job will require a manager who thrives on being busy leading with a hands-on style of management can do attitude and a will to learn back office management.

Salary will be dictated based on suitable candidates experience between 35000 -37000 a year 43 hour contract.

Full flexibility is required including weekends but typically early shifts.

The ideal candidate for this Deli Manager Job:

Previous management experience working with fresh food ordering stock accountable for waste profits and budgets 1- 2 years Supervisor senior deli staff member or manager will be considered.
Excellent customer service
Strong organisational skills a good communicator can work with people and motivate teams under you
Be able to work both in a team and on own initiative good problem-solving abilities thrive on pressure
Excellent understanding of food safety and HACCP management passing audits etc

Responsibilities for this Deli Manager Job:

Oversee the running of a busy deli bakery coffee dock kitchen area and seating area.
Responsible for up to 7 staff members organising the workload directing work and ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
Proper management of stock ordering
Correct management of hygiene and HACCP records
Maintaining the standards in line with company policies.
Responsible for ensuring your team is trained to a high level following company protocol
