Role Overview The EC teacher will serve students in grades 4-10 working closely with classroom teachers to deliver high-quality instruction tailored to individual student needs. Theposition involves both push-in and pull-out instruction and requires ongoing collaboration with staff and families.
Youll assess students needs adapt lessons track progress and lead the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Youll be instrumental in ensuring every student receives the support they need to grow academically and socially in an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess students academic and functional skills
Modify lesson plans to meet individual learning goals
Monitor and document student progress
Develop revise and implement IEPs
Communicate regularly with classroom teachers about student progress
Provide direct instruction through push-in and pull-out support
Collaborate closely with parents staff and service providers
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
