Role: Senior Analyst - Integration Directorate (Modernization/Capability Alignment)
POP: 12 months
Location: National Capital Region; On-site (Pentagon in DC)
JOB SCOPE:
The Senior Analyst supports modernization strategy development and capability alignment across Army and Joint requirements processes. This position focuses on AROC/JROC support capability gap analysis and integration of modernization initiatives with Army priorities and resource constraints.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Secret Clearance required (TS Clearance may be required for certain portfolios).
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties.
- Experience at senior levels of the Army such as HQDA MACOMs or Army Service Component Commands.
- Thorough understanding of AR 71-9 and CJCSI 3170.01 (JCIDS).
- Experience supporting AROC JROC JCB FCB or similar requirements forums.
- Knowledge of capability-based assessment and analysis of alternatives processes.
- Strong understanding of Army and Joint capability development processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical writing and briefing skills.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations and synthesize complex information.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Masters degree may substitute for one year of force development experience; PhD may substitute for two years.
- Experience with AROC Working Groups AROC Review Board or AROC Capabilities Board.
- Knowledge of Capabilities and AROC Management System (CAMs).
- Experience with Army Futures Command modernization priorities.
- Previous experience developing or reviewing JCIDS documents.
- Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) Level-C certification.
TASKS:
- Provide analysis reviews and recommendations in support of validation and approval of Army and Joint JCIDS documents (ICD CDD CDD-U DCRs).
- Advise AROC Working Groups on JCIDS policy ACIDS processes and Army Senior Leader guidance.
- Ensure briefing content matches specified templates SOPs and provides necessary information for informed decisions.
- Advise DOM divisions on briefing structure and content for ARBs ACBs and AROCs.
- Assist with setup and execution of ARBs ACBs and AROCs.
- Prepare EXSUMs AROCMs and approval documentation as required.
- Support staffing coordination and management of requirements products.
- Manage and integrate information in CAMs for assigned portfolios.
- Communicate status of requirements through required approval processes.
- Perform mission analysis of potential requirements and prepare/brief requirements approval documents.
- Support SPAR development and reviews from requirements perspective.
- Coordinate DCS G-8 input to Army Equipment Modernization and Distribution Strategy.
- Provide oversight to planning and sourcing materiel solutions for Army EOH requirements.
- Support implementation of policy and procedures for Army Joint and Cyber Capabilities Integration and Development System.
- Coordinate across ARSTAF TRADOC AFC AMC FORSCOM ASA(ALT) and other Services on requirements issues.
- Review and assess Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) and capability-based assessments.
- Support rapid acquisition and rapid equipping initiatives.
- Track and report on status of requirements documents through approval processes.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
