Job Summary

Role: Senior Analyst - Specialty Analyst - Joint Capabilities Integration

POP: 12 months

Location: National Capital Region; On-site (Pentagon in DC)

JOB SCOPE:

The Senior Analyst provides specialized expertise in Joint capabilities integration supporting coordination between Army and Joint requirements processes. This position focuses on JROC support Joint Capabilities Boards Functional Capabilities Boards and integration of Army requirements with Joint warfighting capabilities across DoD.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Secret Clearance required (TS Clearance may be required for certain portfolios)
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
  • Experience at senior levels of the Army such as HQDA MACOMs or Army Service Component Commands
  • Thorough understanding of CJCSI 3170.01 Operation of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
  • Knowledge of AR 71-9 and Army requirements processes
  • Experience supporting JROC JCB FCB or Joint Staff operations
  • Understanding of Joint warfighting concepts and multi-service coordination
  • Strong analytical and coordination skills across multiple organizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with other Services and Joint organizations

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Masters degree may substitute for one year of force development experience; PhD may substitute for two years
  • Previous Joint Staff experience
  • Knowledge of Joint doctrine and multi-domain operations concepts
  • Experience with Joint urgent operational needs processes
  • Understanding of combatant command requirements processes
  • Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) Level-C certification

TASKS:

  • Provide analysis reviews and recommendations in support of Joint requirements validation and approval processes
  • Support JROC JCB and FCB preparation and participation
  • Coordinate Army positions on Joint capability documents
  • Review and analyze Joint JCIDS documents (Joint ICD Joint CDD Joint DCR)
  • Provide Army input to Joint requirements forums
  • Coordinate with Joint Staff on capability gap analyses and Joint priorities
  • Support integration of Army capabilities with Joint warfighting concepts
  • Analyze impacts of Joint decisions on Army programs and priorities
  • Prepare briefings for senior leaders on Joint requirements issues
  • Coordinate across Services on multi-service programs and joint development efforts
  • Support rapid Joint validation processes for urgent operational needs
  • Track Joint requirements documents through approval processes
  • Provide recommendations on Army participation in Joint capability development
  • Coordinate with combatant commands on operational capability requirements
  • Support development of Army positions for Joint forums
  • Prepare information papers and executive summaries on Joint integration issues
  • Monitor Joint capability development initiatives and their impacts on Army modernization
  • All other duties as assigned by management
