About You

The Manager Accounting Operations will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations related to Provider collections vendor management and commission payments with a specific focus on our procurement business unit. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy efficiency and timeliness of all cash inflows and outflows.

What youll do and how youll have an impact

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Manage and streamline AR collection processes relating to the Procurement business unit ensuring timely follow-up and resolution on outstanding balances;
Monitor Provider receivables and maintain accurate aging reports;
Collaborate with Provider Commissions team to resolve statement-to-payment issues and discrepancies;
Develop and report on AR metrics to drive performance improvements.

Accounts Payable (AP)

Oversee advisor commission AP processing ensuring accuracy and timely payments;
Manage vendor onboarding and change management ensure W-9s and tax forms are collected and maintain vendor data integrity;
Work closely with the Advisor Finance team to ensure seamless and timely disbursement of payments;
Reconcile AP aging reports and ensure compliance with company policies;
Oversee the annual 1099 preparation and filing process ensuring accurate collection validation and submission of vendor tax information in compliance with IRS regulations.

Cross-Functional & Strategic Support

Identify opportunities to automate or improve processes around collections and payments;
Partner with Billing Operations and Treasury on cash flow planning and forecasting related to AR/AP;
Assist with month-end close tasks related to AR/AP including reconciliations and journal entries;
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.

What were looking for

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field;
5 years of experience in accounting operations with direct experience in AR and AP;
Strong understanding of banking platforms and ERP systems (NetSuite is preferred);
Proven experience managing payment workflows;
Excellent organizational and communication skills;
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally.
