TheRodman Early Childhood Preschool is seeking afull time (5 days per week) teacher. This is a long term substitute position with estimated dates of October 2025 to November 2025. Thisteaching positionis committed to promoting equity a sense of belonging and fostering academic and personal success for all students. We are an integrated Preschool with a dedicated and skilled faculty and staff.
In this role the teacher reports directly to the Early Childhood Directorand is a member of theRodmanteaching team.
Performance Responsibilities:
Following and implementing the existing curriculum and lesson plans.
Adapting activities and materials to meet the diverse needs of all students including those with special needs.
Delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that align with developmental goals.
Conducting individual and small-group instruction.
Monitoring student progress and documenting observations.
Collaborating with support staff (e.g. speech therapists occupational therapists paraprofessionals) to implement student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Must hold valid and current MA certification in special education early childhood
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Master degree preferred
- Citizenship residency or work visa required
