How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

Directs the overall activities of the manufacturing facility to ensure customer orders are received scheduled and produced at the lowest possible cost to meet the customers requirements while maintaining established safety and quality standards.
Analyzes plant operations and key metrics to ensure that the facility maintains high quality and safety standards to continue to maintain our leadership position in the industry.
Is responsible for expense management and control including shrink labor and overhead costs utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and methods.
Analyze downtime through effective root cause analysis to continuously improve operational efficiencies and processes.
Ensures that Standard Operating Procedures are developed updated and maintained for all aspects of the business.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have The Following Experience Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree preferred with a minimum of (2)-years of supervisory experience.
Internal Candidates: A minimum of (5)-years hands-on plant experience in the dairy plant or food industry operations with a minimum of (3)-years of supervisory experience.
Experience using Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Proficient understanding of budgeting and cost control.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Position Abilities and Physical Requirements

Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise changing temperatures (hot wet cold humid) standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
Physical lifting up to 40-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift.
Working with chemicals wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.
Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Fine manipulation and hand dexterity including ability to grip and squeeze; handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) to include bump cap hearing and eye protection. This also include additional PPE requirements as defined for the position activities.
Must be able to work overtime on a daily and/or weekly basis.
